Your child may have mentioned making a new friend this week - Indy, a 3yo Maltese cross, who belongs to our Acting Principal, Mrs Hoban. 

Indy has become extremely popular amongst our students (and staff!) and has been a wonderful addition to our school environment. 

Dogs in Schools and School Grounds

Under Section 28 of the Dog Control Act 2000, principals can make decisions about dogs in and on school property.

A person must not take a dog into:

• any grounds of a school, preschool, kindergarten, creche or other place for the reception of children without the permission of a person in charge of the place
