Congratulations to the latest group of students to receive Principal's Awards in assembly:
Lilly S: Showing maturity and courage when facing more difficult learning activities.
Oliver O: Showing courage to step outside of his comfort zone and apply himself to new learning tasks.
Charlotte B: Working co-operatively with other students when building the Rainbow Village.
Charlotte F: Putting in a great deal of effort in her learning. Charlotte has learnt to read and spell all of her SMART Spelling words.
Avalon T: Always being a kind and considerate student. Avalon often helps in the classroom and will look after other students without being asked to
William P: Setting a good example for the class by looking after his peers when they are in need.
Oscar L: His sense of wonder and questioning mindset in our Science and History learning.
Lucas R: Making connections in his learning to prior knowledge and asking inquiring questions to take his learning further.
Curtis S: His growth in the area of Literacy, in particular his excellent ideas and imaginative creative writing work.
Sandhya J: Her courage to try her best with subtraction of numbers and achieve pleasing results.
Luca B: Demonstrating the values of aspiration and courage as he has practised reading aloud with expression. Luca engaged in risk taking and this benefited his ability to adopt character voices with confidence and zest.
Lily D: Using courage and determination to practise the skill of reading aloud with expression and fluency. Lily has shown great dedication to practising this skill and learning to transfer it to new contexts.
Finn B: Making a significant improvement in his work output and in the quality of the work that he produces.
Elsie T: Improving the content in her writing work.
Isabelle O: Her extra care and application towards her assessments both at school and at home. Isabelle follows instructions well and is respectful and empathetic towards others.
Tom B: Broadening his interest in class work over the first half of the year. He is now completing his work, showing a lot more of his thinking and his level of ability.
Harlan A: His improvement in managing his time wisely within the classroom and getting more work completed. Well done Harlan. Keep it up!
Thomas G: Trying his best and working hard to achieve his goals. Well done, Tom!
Freshy S: Consistently working to do her best in all curriculum areas.
Ivy B: Working to her best standard when writing her independent report about penguins.
Ruby T: Displaying deep thinking skills and adding her voice to class historic inquiry discussions that enhances the learning of all.
Lucas B: Consistently embracing new learning challenges with a "can do" attitude and legendary persistence.
Alana M: Being an organised and persistent student who tries her best in all learning areas.
Holly F: Having a more positive attitude towards Maths tasks and being willing to try new activities.
Eli W: Consistently working towards producing his best work in all curriculum areas in the classroom. He is a great example to peers. Well done!
Bonnie S:Demonstrating increased enthusiasm and interest towards her learning, which has resulted in some well produced work in the classroom.
The next assembly will be held on Friday 21st June and 3A will be hosting. 5/6A and Prep A will be showing items.
