Call for Committee Members
Would you like to be more involved in the decision making of the School Association at LPS? We have two parent vacancies on our committee, and we would love to have some new members. Being on the committee means you have voting rights at our meetings and can also put yourself forward for positions like Chair, Secretary, Treasurer or Vice-chair.
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is where we vote in new committee members and decide on our office bearer positions. If you would like to nominate to be a committee member, pick up a nomination form at the school office. All you need to do is ask one parent at LPS to nominate you and another parent to second the nomination and then hand the form back into the office. Closing date for nominations is Friday 19thMarch.
If you are wondering what this involves or if it requires lots of commitment or just have some questions just get in touch with Kel or myself via our FB page or the school office.

Easter Raffle
The annual Easter Raffle will be drawn on Monday 29th March. Raffle books have been sent home with students and can be returned with money to the school office. Spare books are also available from the office.
Students are invited to wear free dress next Wednesday 10th March, and to bring along a gold coin donation.
Good luck to all who purchase a ticket. There are some delicious prizes on offer!
