SRC 'S' DRESS UP DAY FUNDRAISER
On Wednesday, LPS student participated in an 'S' Day Dress Up fundraiser, organised by our SRC, raising money for The Smith Family; an orgnaisation that supports disadvantaged children to make the most of their education.
Students were invited to come dressed as something beginning with the letter S, and their creativity was fantastic!
Our SRC met with The Smith Family's Grace Coleman as part of our fundraising day. Grace thanked the students for their fundraising efforts and told us that the money we raised today (a massive $501) would support the educational needs of one Tasmanian primary school student for an entire year. She was so grateful of the efforts of the SRC and our school community in raising funds for their charity.
