BOOK WEEK 2021
Book Week 2021 was celebrated in style at LPS. Our students and staff showed off their love of Book Week by putting on a brilliant parade for our school community. Take a look at some of the great costumes from the day:
BOOK WEEK STUDENT REPORT
On Wednesday the 25th August was our Book Week parade day. People dressed up as many different characters from various types of books.
We went to the Book Week parade in the morning before recess. The teachers all had a theme. Their theme was Alice in wonderland.
The theme for Book Week was New Worlds, Old Worlds, Other Worlds. We had lots of Harry Potter characters. There were also many Wizard of Oz characters.
All the children were so excited and we had a very fun time. The Book Week parade was the most exciting thing for all the classes in Lindisfarne Primary School.

Our staff love sharing their enthusiasm and passion for books, even more so during Book Week. This year we challenged students and our school community to see if they can decode the emojis to guess what books our staff love. See if you can guess the titles:
